‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Season 3 Officially Confirmed & Sets November 20 Premiere

Disney+ has locked in a date for the next chapter of Camp Half-Blood: Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 will premiere November 20, roughly a month earlier than either of its two predecessors managed. Both prior seasons dropped in December — Season 1 in 2023, Season 2 last year — so the shift puts the show in front of Thanksgiving-week audiences instead, a scheduling change that on its own signals how much confidence Disney has in the franchise.

Word first circulated as an unconfirmed report from TV Insider earlier in the week, before Entertainment Weekly made it official with a first-look package tied to the show’s presence at San Diego Comic-Con. If the season keeps the same eight-episode structure as the first two, the run would wrap right around New Year’s Day 2027.

    A Darker Turn

Season 3 adapts The Titan’s Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan’s series, and pushes the story into noticeably higher stakes: the Hunters of Artemis enter the picture, and Kronos’s threat to Olympus grows more direct than anything the show has depicted so far. Walker Scobell, who plays Percy, told EW that the earlier books hook readers in gradually, but that this is the one where the series’ mythology really starts to bite — a shift the show is apparently leaning into rather than softening for younger viewers.

Notably, this is the first Percy Jackson book that’s never been adapted before in any form — the 2010s film series with Logan Lerman stopped after its second entry, Sea of Monsters, years before reaching this part of the story.

    Who’s Coming Back — and Who’s New

Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri return as Percy, Annabeth, and Grover, alongside Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan, Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse La Rue, and Tamara Smart as Thalia Grace. The season’s new arrivals form one of the show’s biggest cast expansions to date: Nico and Bianca di Angelo, the goddess Artemis, Zoë Nightshade, and Aphrodite are all set to appear as the story widens beyond Camp Half-Blood.

Behind the scenes, production ran longer than usual, starting in August 2025 with location filming across British Columbia — including the University of British Columbia and New Westminster’s city hall — before wrapping in March 2026, with a holiday hiatus built in partly so the cast could promote Season 2’s own release.

None of this is really a surprise in hindsight. Disney renewed the show for a third season nine months before Season 2 even premiered, and a fourth outing already appears to be in early conversations even though nothing has been formally announced. For a franchise that’s spent two seasons building out Rick Riordan’s world piece by piece, November 20 marks the point where the show finally starts drawing from the books’ darkest material.
