House of the Dragon Season 3 Is Underway
House of the Dragon Season 3 premiered on June 21, 2026, and is airing new episodes weekly on HBO and HBO Max through a finale on August 9. The season draws from George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, beginning with the Battle of the Gullet as the Targaryen civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons intensifies between the rival factions of Team Black and Team Green, according to Collider. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Heads Into Season 2

Andor and House of Cards writer Beau Willimon has been attached to pen the screenplay, according to Variety and Deadline. More Expansion Still in Development
Beyond the confirmed projects, HBO has several other Game of Thrones spinoffs at earlier stages. Ten Thousand Ships, a prequel centered on the warrior princess Nymeria, is in active development with a new pilot script.
